The Hau Tree Lanai is the favorite beachfront restaurant for visitors and long-time residents alike. The Eggs Benedict and poi pancakes at breakfast are famous. Luncheon meals are just as taste-tempting; hearty sandwiches, curries, pastas, fresh island fish and vegetarian dishes. Dinner specialties include poultry, pasta, steak and lobster, and fresh seafood entrees. Each selection is carefully prepared, superbly served and reasonably priced. Preparation ranges from traditional American to Asian inspired. All the while you’ll be dining alfresco beneath the ancient Hau trees where author Robert Louis Stevenson lounged and wrote.

The Miyako Restaurant is cozy and Zen-like with its traditional Japanese decor and waitresses in kimonos. And the view is spectacular; the azure blue Pacific extends to the seemingly infinite horizon and the expanse of Waikiki Beach arches toward the Waianae Coast Mountain Range. Be sure to try the sake sampler and the kaiseki prix fixe menus, which offer seasonal dishes as beautiful to the eye as they are delicious. Lanai Seating (3 Cabanas) and private tatami rooms (6 to 24 guests) are also available.
